Nursing Philosophy

The mission of the Institute of Nursing is to prepare professional nurses capable of synthesizing theoretical and empirical knowledge incorporating concepts from the physical and behavioral sciences, humanities and discipline of nursing in developing and implementing the nursing practice. The Institue of Nursing is committed to creating a learning environment which encourages faculty, staff, and students in the department to realize their potential, to appreciate and contribute to the health and enrichment of diverse communities, to promote a caring attitude, to be a leaders in their, communities, and develop a passion for life-long learning.

Base Hospitals

Our base hospital, the St. Luke’s Medical Center is the first hospital in the Philippines accredited by an international accrediting agency, the JCI, where students are trained in the latest and most advanced clinical care.

Our affiliation hospitals are: East Avenue Medical Center, National Children’s Hospital, Tondo Medical Center, Antipolo City Medical Center, National Orthopedic Hospital, San Lazaro Medical Center, National Center for Mental Health among others.
