Graduate School

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  •  A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Official transcript of records from the previous school attended.
  • A 2.09 (85%) grade point average (GPA) in the graduate course.
  • The student shall submit himself to an interview by the Dean of the GS.
  • He shall secure two letters of recommendations :
    1. from a former faculty
    2. from an  immediate superior (in case the applicant is employed).
  • Letter of intent applying for enrollment in the Graduate program.
  • The student shall take the graduate entrance examinations.  The examinations will include the following:
    1. two tests for Mental Ability
    2. two tests for Personality Inventory

Special Admission Requirements for Foreigners

  • Certificate of registration for aliens issued by the Commission on Immigration and Deportation
  • Written permission from the Commission of Higher Education to study in a Philippine school, including an evaluation of the academic program previously taken. Cross-enrollees must submit a written permit to cross-enroll from the home school.

ADMISSION PROCEDURES

First Year Applicants

  1. Submit the following:
    1. Application form
    2. Official Transcript of Records / or a Certified True Copy of Transcript of Records and two (2) 1”X1” ID pictures
    3. Certificate of Honorable Dismissal from the school she/he last attended
    4. Birth Certificate
  2. Pay Admissions Test Fee
  3. Take Admissions Test
  4. Report for Interview with the Dean

Transferees

  1. Submit the following:
    1. Application form
    2. Official Transcript of Records, if not available, submit a Certified True Copy of grades – (College and MA courses previously taken) and two (2) 1” x1” ID pictures
    3. Transfer Credentials
    4. Certificate of Honorable Dismissal from the school she/he last attended
    5. Birth Certificate
    6. Certificate of Marriage Contract, if applicable
  2. Get result of evaluation of the above
  3. Pay Admissions Test Fee
  4. Take Admissions Test
  5. Report for Interview with the Dean

ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES

1.    Submit complete requirements at the Graduate School Dean’s Office
2.    Fill up Registration Form
3.    See the Dean for subject load and final approval of enrollment
4.    Go to the cashier for assessment of units enrolled and payment of fees.
5.    Secure class cards and ID card from the Graduate School Dean’s Office.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS (FOR NEW STUDENTS / TRANSFEREES)

1.       Birth Certificate duly registered and validated with the Local Civil Registrar (photocopy only).  Present original copy for verification.

 

2.      For the first and second year applicants – Present the original or certified true copy of the Grade VI or 1st year Report Card as the case maybe.

 

For the third year applicants – Present the unofficial Form 137 or certified true copy of the Report Cards  from 1st year to 2nd year.

 

The applicant’s average should be at least 80% and with no failing grade in any subject.

 

3.      Letter of recommendation or Certification of Good Moral Character from the Principal or Officer of Student Affairs or Adviser of the last school attended.

4.      Two new, identical 1” X 1” ID photos.

 

Additional Requirements (For Foreign Applicants only)

1.      Special Study Permit (SSP) Student Visa

2.      Authenticated copy of grades/certification of grade level completed

3.      Certification of Filipino recognition for dual citizenship

4.      Xerox copy of Passport

ADMISSION  PROCEDURES

1.      Submit complete requirements for admission at the Records and Admissions Office for evaluation.

2.      Pay testing fee at the Cashier’s Office.

3.      Present official receipt to the Records and Admissions Office and secure examination permit for the Entrance Examination.

4.      Submit examination permit to the Guidance Office on the scheduled date of test.

5.      Interview of applicant accompanied by parent or guardian on the scheduled  date at the Guidance Office and Office of Student Affairs.

6.      After having passed the interviews the applicant will be  issued the Approval of Application for Admission.
